I am an experienced journalist and writer. My career as a journalist has spanned over 30 years. Punjabi is my native language. I hold Master of Science degrees in Media Studies, Psychology and History. I have translated seven books from English into Urdu (including two books on Journalism) and I am also a co-author of three textbooks. I have translated over 1000 articles and reports on different topics from English into Urdu and Punjabi. I have reviewed, proofread, and edited numerous books on Islam, Pakistan, History, Urdu language and literature, Journalism, Social Studies etc. My research topic for MS Media Studies degree program was “Problems of Orthography in Urdu Journalism of Pakistan.” (پاکستان کی اردو صحافت میں املا کے مسائل) I have written extensively on this topic and my research articles have been published in different periodicals and research journals. I have worked with different national and international media and development organizations as a writer, translator, and editor.
