The Biggest Mosque in Australia

This is the biggest mosque in Australia. It has been erected on the pattern of Ottoman construction. It is situated in suburban area of Sydney known as Auburn. It was built by the Turks who inhabited Australia. The construction of this mosque commenced in 1986 and was completed in thirteen years. It was opened for the Namazis on 28th November, 1999. As many as one thousand Namazis attend the Jumma congregations. It has one dome and two minarets. The marble that is used in the construction of outer walls has been imported from Turkey. And the carpet laid in the main hall was made in Istanbul.
