SMUTA demands from Sindh government to remove VC QUEST and initiate inquiries to probe the allegations of harassment and alleged corruption in QUEST

Sindh Madressatul Islam University Teachers’ Association (SMUTA) continues to protest against Vice-Chancellor of Quaid e the Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology (QUEST) Nawabshah for alleged victimization and harassment of faculty of QUEST

SMUTA observed black days, protested at the press club, and continues to protest with a black ribbon.

Sindh Madressatul Islam University Teachers’ Association (SMUTA) has started a protest movement against Vice-Chancellor Quaid e the Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology Nawabshah, for his alleged victimization and harassment of faculty members of QUEST. SMUTA also staged a huge protest at Press Club Karachi where faculty members of SMIU, members of Civil society, and Lawyers’ forums participated and voiced their collective condemnation of inhuman acts of Vice-Chancellor
SMUTA continues this protest movement on the fourth day as well by wearing black ribbons. Leadership has demanded from the Sindh government to immediately remove the vice-chancellor QUEST and initiate inquiries to relieve the teachers of QUEST.
SMUTA vowed to continue the protest and widen the scope of protest if the demands are not met.
