Shahid Afridi misses Multan Sultans’ squad and wished to be in Abu Dhabi

Ali Tareen, one of the owners of Multan Sultans, tweeted and wished about Shahid Afridi's presence in the final. 

KARACHI: Super star all rounder Shahid Khan Afridi is missing his team Multan Sultans who will be encountered with Peshawar Zalmi in Pakistan Super League (PSL) final of the sixth edition tomorrow in Abu Dhabi. 

Multan Sultans reached into PSL’s final for the first time with extra efforts in the second leg of the event.

Shahid Afridi is the part of MS’s squad but could not travel to Abu Dhabi with the team due to his health.

Now, a day before the final, the veteran all rounder is missing his team and mates, and wished to be with them.

Ali Tareen, one of the owners of Multan Sultans, tweeted and wished about Shahid Afridi’s presence in the final.

In reply, Shahid Afridi said, “Yes Ali! (I am) missing my teammates and really wish to be there in Abu Dhabi.”

He is confident with the current squad and said, “I’m sure our Multan Sultan’s would play quality cricket and bring us all immense joy and reasons to celebrate on Thursday.”
